It is that range of biodiversity that we must care for - the whole thing - rather than just one or two stars.

Stories of change
ERS has been working across communities to drive meaningful change, from environmental restoration to innovative waste management and youth-led initiatives.
Read about it in our blog to explore the stories, successes, and people behind the progress.
WATER ENERGY FOOD NEXUS FESTIVAL
The WEF nexus, a globally recognized intergrated approach, takes center stage, bringing together minds and hearts to address the pressing challanges facing communities, especially, in rural areas in South Africa.
Ecochamps
ERS’s Ecochamps program is transforming local youths with limited education prospects into conservation champions. These young individuals, often sidelined from mainstream conservation jobs, are gaining crucial skills and experience through contract work within their communities. Eight Ecochamps have transitioned into permanent roles, driving ERS’s impact by engaging directly with communities, managing resources, and spearheading citizen science. Their efforts not only benefit ERS but also contribute to broader research, knowledge sharing, and advocacy, amplifying conservation efforts across the board.
